In today’s fast-paced industrial and domestic environments, electrical safety is paramount. At TEXAS Solutech Co. Ltd, we have dedicated ourselves to ensuring that electrical hazards are identified and mitigated effectively. Our comprehensive Electrical Safety Audits are designed to protect both personnel and equipment, ensuring a safer and more efficient workplace.

Why Electrical Safety Audits Are Crucial
Electrical hazards can lurk in any workplace, posing significant risks to both employees and infrastructure. These dangers often stem from deteriorating electrical equipment and cabling, which necessitates regular and thorough inspections. The goal of Electrical Safety Audits is to identify areas that require attention and implement remedial measures to prevent accidents and ensure operational continuity. Our audits incorporate a variety of assessments, including Arc Flash Analysis, Grounding and Bonding Inspection, and Electrical Hazard Identification.

Our Proven Track Record

What is an Electrical Safety Audit?
An Electrical Safety Audit is a meticulous process aimed at verifying that a plant or installation’s electrical structure meets all necessary standards. This audit ensures the safety of personnel and the integrity of the equipment, guaranteeing minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Standards we adhere to include:

BS 7671- 17th Edition Wiring Regulations
IEC 60079-17 for Electrical Equipment in Explosive Areas
National Electrical Code (NEC) Compliance
Electrical Safety Standards
Our Comprehensive Audit Process
Wiring Installation – Inspection and Testing
Our audit process involves a detailed inspection and testing of the entire wiring installation to ensure its integrity, safety, and compliance with standards. This includes:

Inspecting the entire wiring installation for safety and standard compliance.
Measuring earth resistance, insulation resistance, and earth loop impedance.
Conducting Insulation Resistance Testing and Voltage Drop Testing.
Checking protection grading and overall protection systems.
Reporting on wiring and fittings, complete with photographic evidence of any defects.
Recommending necessary remedial measures.
To achieve these objectives, our auditors meticulously study the system, ensuring the “as-built” drawings align with the existing installation. In the absence of these drawings, we prepare new ones.

Equipment and Tools Used:

Earth Resistance Tester
Insulation Resistance Tester
Digital Camera
Protection Switchgear and Controls
This aspect of the audit focuses on testing and inspecting the electrical structure under normal operating conditions to assess wear and tear and inform predictive maintenance. Key components include circuit breakers, residual current devices, isolators, disconnectors, surge diverters, and more.

The scope includes:

Circuit Breaker Testing and Overcurrent Protection Assessment.
Measuring feeder loads on cables to ensure adequacy.
Thermal Imaging Inspections of bus bars, MCCBs, and other current-carrying devices.
Testing circuit breakers, RCDs, and ELCBs for trip time and tripping current.
These inspections are conducted while the plant is in full operation, ensuring no disruption to the supply.

Equipment and Tools Used:

Clip-On Ammeter (1000 Amps)
Infrared Thermo Imager
Earth Leakage Clip-On Ammeter
Digital Multi-Function Tester
